Office Manager

The Role

In this role you will wear many hats to ensure our office continues to be a great place to work. You will support our growing San Francisco office and have day-to-day administrative and operational responsibilities.  The ideal candidate will seek ways to improve processes, procedures, and the office environment. You will be the ambassador to fostering camaraderie through various in-office events and initiatives.  You must be highly organized and detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and work with a strong sense of urgency to get things done.

What You'll Do

  • Greet visitors, receive and manage deliveries
  • Manage all aspects of office and facilities operations, maintain the functionality and appearance of the office, and ongoing improvement to our workspace; cultivate and maintain relationships with property management/facilities, and vendors
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees; respond to questions and requests, resolve issues related to IT, billing, supplies, etc.
  • Prepares expense reports for assigned departments using Concur and ensure expenses are aligned with company policies and budgets
  • Coordinate all aspects of workspace planning and operations, including new hire workstation and equipment set up, order business cards, scheduling orientation meetings, etc.
  • Plan and execute on- and offsite meetings and events; source venues, manage event budget, procure equipment, plan meals, etc.
  • Manage travel and conference bookings, arrange domestic and international travel

 

About You

  • A minimum of four years of administrative or office management experience
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrate ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Be a creative problem solver
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • An Associate’s degree in business management or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree preferred
